Showtime Buys Comedy From Farrelly Bros, Chris Pappas, Mike Bernier & Kevin Barnett

They behind the 2008 Fox comedy Unhitched, authors Chris Pappas, Mike Bernier and Kevin Barnett and company company directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly, gets back for just about any new comedy project in development at Showtime. 5 are executive creating the project, a sometimes cynical, raunchy, Farrelly-style comedy turning around a guy who's fooled by his wife after a period of marriage which he finds themselves within the crossroads from the middle age crisis. Pappas, Bernier and Barnett, repped by CAA and Epidemic Pictures & Management, are writing, with Peter Farrelly installed on direct. In addition, Pappas and Bernier are writing a multi-camera comedy for ABC starring music star Romeo Santos and based on his existence maturing in the traditional Dominican-American family. Pappas and Bernier are executive creating with Will Cruz and James Lassiter of Overbrook Entertainment. Record executive/manager Steve Stoute may even produce in a few capacity.
