Nick Nolte Joins Parker

Along with Patti LuPoneEven because he begins filming, director Taylor Hackford is slotting the rest of the couple of casting pieces into spot for his new action thriller, Parker, with Nick Nolte, Patti LuPone and Emma Booth all registering. Parker, modified from Jesse E Westlake's novel series, finds Jason Statham because the titular crook, a guy who lives with a code of honor but who'll kill at the appropriate interval and will not be trifled with. Which you'd think everybody knows, since he's performed by Statham, but we wager someone silly will attempt. Nolte is aboard to experience his mentor (question if something bad may happen to him because, knowing through the Auto technician and also the approaching Killer Elite, that isn't a secure place to be with The Stath). There is no word on which roles Booth or LuPone have grabbed. The cast includes Michael Chiklis, Wendell Pierce and Clifton Collins Junior. Oh, and Jennifer Lopez is confirmed as aboard, together with her playing a realtor who we assume makes connection with Parker. Hackford, working from John J McLaughlin's script, continues to shoot the film in New Orleans now.
